BELIZE

Petit, 2010

[(Passion in Paris x Streetcar Named Desire) (Ruby Pearl Sullivan)] x James’s Prissy Kirsti) Sev. 5.5" fl. 27" sc. M 15-20 buds. The flowers of Belize are a deep plum to grape purple. The flowers have a small lighter watermark surrounding a deep green throat. The ruffled petal edges are surrounded by a heavy gold edge. The fertile flowers are striking because of their intense and unusual color. Despite their heavy gold edge, the blooms of Belize never hang, and the plants are cold hardy. Because of so many wonderful characteristics, we have used Belize heavily in our purple and red breeding program with wonderful success.
