BLUE NOTE

(Mrs. John Cooper x Bridey Greeson) x (Tet. Crystal Blue Persuasion) Sev. 5" fl. 32-34" sc. M 20-25 buds. Fertile both ways. The flowers of Blue Note are a light purple to lavender with a blue violet eye. The eye is surrounded by a darker burgundy mascara band and the pattern eye continues around the petal edges as a wire picotee edge. The center of the flower has a green throat. The color of the eye is very clear and has a powder to steel blue base. The plants have good to very good rust resistance and are cold hardy. The blooms are presented on tall scapes. A beautiful flower and important breeder.
